1. La Mira de Gredos, a good place to  eat in the Sierra de Gredos

Located in Hoyos del Espino, La Mira de Gredos boasts of offering the best beans and meat in Ávila. In its menu we find dishes such as white beans from Barco de Ávila with its sacraments or Ávila beef entrecote with potatoes and peppers. Equally recommended are the tumbled potatoes with paprika from La Vera and torreznillos.

Likewise, the restaurant offers the possibility of choosing various menus based on the preferences of each diner : a tasting menu selected by the chef taking into account the products of the season; a traditional menu, which includes its most characteristic dishes; or an inexpensive menu for groups.

It is the first tourist inn and was inaugurated in 1928 by King Alfonso XIII, who used the building as a residence during his hunting trips.
