Queen Wilhelmina Garden

The best time of year to visit is in June as in that month the grass is amazingly green and all the plants have given flowers. This garden was created in honor of Queen Juliana and Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands in 1955. You can see on the route a statue of the Queen Mother of that country, Wilhelmina, who ruled in the early years of the last century .

Gold Ruins

This storied fortress is located in the north of Aruba and was built, using nearby stones, in 1872. For many years it was used as a smelting furnace for gold. In the best of times it processed about a ton of this precious metal.

Ruins of the Natural Bridge

For a long time it was the tallest coral structure in the Caribbean. This bridge was 8 meters above sea level but unfortunately for natural reasons it collapsed in 2005. In the surroundings we can find shops with souvenirs, soft drinks and snacks.

Chapel Alta Vista

With its views of the sea and its simplicity, it invites everyone to stroll around its surroundings. It was built by Spaniards and Aborigines. It is also known by the name of “pilgrims’ church” and has a yellow facade. For the residents it is a place of great peace and tranquility.

California Lighthouse

It owes its name to the ship that was wrecked off the west coast of the island. It is 82 meters high and from the summit you can see the beaches, the golf courses, the mountains and even the buildings under construction. It is one of the icons of Aruba and is located on an elevation next to the sea.
