1. Boh Tea, Bharat Tea and Tanah Rata’s Cameron Valley Tea
The Boh Tea fields of Tanah Rata are one of the most visited destinations by tourists. This is the largest plantation in the country. Located about eight kilometers south of the city, they offer quite complex trekking routes .
Closer to the city of Tanah Rata are the Bharat Tea. These belong to a small company that allows tourists to walk through the green tea bushes. Moreover, many times it is the company itself that offers the transport service to tourists to visit the place.
Finally, we should not miss the opportunity to visit the Cameron Valley Tea, which is the smallest plantation, but also the least visited. For this reason, it is one of the most recommended tea fields to enjoy the peace of the site.
2. Boh Tea in Brinchang
Located six kilometers from Brinchang, another of the great cities located in the Cameron Highlands, is this tea plantation. It allows you to take a free tour not only through the fields, but also to visit the plant, where we can learn how the tea production process is carried out.
3. Other destinations
Other activities you can do in Cameron Highlands is to follow a route through Mossy Forest , known to trekking enthusiasts . This tropical jungle offers adventurers the opportunity to lose themselves in a thick forest full of native flora and fauna.
Also, for some years, the visit to the strawberry greenhouses has been included in the tourist route. In addition, there are other excursions of interest, such as visiting the bee farms or taking a route to see the largest flower in the world, the rafflesia.

One of the best options to go to the Cameron Highlands is to take a bus from Kuala Lumpur. If we go to the city’s TBS Station, we will find several bus lines that will take us there for little money. The trip takes about two and a half hours and the price does not exceed three euros.
Usually buses usually arrive to Tanah Rata. Here we will find a wide variety of services, from restaurants to various types of accommodation for all kinds of budgets.
