We Take You To 7 Extreme Places On The Planet
There are travelers looking for experiences out of the ordinary. They want to challenge themselves or experience intense sensations and, therefore, they do not feel comfortable in the usual tourist destinations. They prefer extreme places like these that we are going to visit.
By extreme places we understand those that have characteristics that put anyone to the limit. Extreme heat, extreme cold, or extreme whatever. These are sites that do not fit into any classification, but are unique on the planet and guarantee an experience that cannot be lived elsewhere.
Obviously, some of these sites cannot be visited, at least on a normal trip. Others, on the other hand, are places that, despite their particular conditions, are accessible to humans. These are seven of them.
1. The Dead Sea, one of the most extreme places
A sea that does not have life is already a surprising rarity. The Dead Sea is the lowest point on the planet on land. It is located between Israel, Jordan and the West Bank.
It is also the most saline concentration of water on the planet. That is why it has no life, but also for that reason you float there without making much effort. It is considered a natural sanatorium, since the chemical components of its waters are medicinal.
2. Road to Los Yungas, Bolivia
The road to Los Yungas is also known as “the road of death.” With that name it is easy to imagine that it is one of the extreme places on the planet. Its layout is truly dangerous.
It is a path, not very wide, located on Route 3 in Bolivia. On one side is the mountain and on the other there are cliffs that make you dizzy just looking at them. In this place the adrenaline reaches the maximum. There, a single mistake means death.
3. Jingpo Lake in China
This is a lake in China that has an overwhelming beauty. It is a mirror of water formed by a block of lava that obstructs the passage of a river.
It is located in the natural park of the same name. There is also a lava river of more than 60 kilometers and a table of the same material of 200 kilometers. The lava deposit also forms a raging waterfall. There is no other place in the world quite like it.
4. Colored Canyon in Egypt, one of the most beautiful extreme places
The Colored Canyon, along with the White Canyon, are located in the Sinai Desert and deserve a special place among the most extreme places on the planet. It is made up of beautiful colored walls that take intricate and truly unique directions.
It cannot be accessed without a guide, as the risk of loss is very high. No photograph can fully capture its unique beauty, which is worth witnessing.
5. The Great Blue Hole in Belize
The Great Blue Hole of Belize is an underwater hole that, seen from the outside, looks like a huge eye that looks up at the sky. It is 300 meters in diameter and 150 meters deep.
It is a point of attraction for the most daring divers due to its turquoise waters and the impressive underwater life that it houses in the upper layers. In the background there is almost total darkness and there is no life.
6. Mount Hua in China, one of the most dangerous extreme places
For many, Mount Hua is the most dangerous trail in the world. It is definitely not a path for everyone because you have to traverse it as if you were a spider. There are hardly any chains that are tied to the mountain and a tiny path made of planks and some stones.
7. Voronia Cave in Georgia
The Voronia cave is another of those strange geological formations that, without a doubt, deserve to be among the extreme places on the planet. It is the deepest cave in the world. It is located in the Arabika region, Western Caucasus, in the Republic of Georgia.
It is surrounded by other smaller caves, some of which are more than 1000 meters deep. The one in Voronia is 2197 meters. Inside it it seems as if you are in the middle of a narrow tornado.
